Guest support standard across our stays

Bathurst sits on Chaleur Bay, with mild summer waters, sandy beaches, and access to some of the best snowmobile trail networks in the Maritimes come winter — plus a short drive to Village Historique Acadien and the rest of the Acadian Peninsula's cultural attractions.

We don't yet operate a listed vacation rental in Bathurst, but its year-round tourism draw — summer waterfront, winter snowmobiling — makes it a market we're actively watching as we grow beyond Greater Moncton.

If you're planning a trip to the region before we open a local listing, our downtown Moncton suites are the closest current option in our portfolio.

Market Insight

A four-season tourism market

Bathurst's tourism economy runs summer to winter — Chaleur Bay's beaches in warmer months, some of the region's best snowmobile trails in winter, and Acadian cultural tourism year-round — with far fewer professionally managed short-term rentals than New Brunswick's larger cities currently offer.

Know the Rules

No local licensing requirement — yet

New Brunswick is the only Maritime province without a province-wide short-term rental licensing framework, so rules are set city by city. Fredericton is currently the only municipality with a specific bylaw on the books; Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, Saint John, and Bathurst have no local STR licensing requirement today, though that can change as councils continue to study the issue. Bathurst currently has no short-term rental bylaw.
